Leonia Together
Age-Friendly Leonia has developed a teen volunteer program that pairs high school students with eligible Leonia residents who need fall leaf cleanup, snow removal over the winter months, and spring yard cleanup.
Eligibile residents must be 70 years or older, or with a physical or financial challenge, and with no nearby family member who can perform these services.
Scheduled Fall Leaf Cleanup Dates:
Saturday, November 14, 10 a.m. - 12 Noon
Saturday, December 5, 10 a.m. - 12 Noon
Snow removal will be provided as needed. We will do our best to anticipate this need and contact registered residents in advance.
Please note that these services are subject to pairing volunteers with residents requesting services and will be provided on a first-come basis. Though not guaranteed, we will do our best to accommodate all.

Leonia Together Teen Volunteer Waiver of Liability
Leonia Together is a volunteer program pairing teen volunteers with eligible residents who need assistance with yard cleanup and snow removal. Teens will earn volunteer hours for their community service in lieu of financial compensation. There is no cost to the resident. Leonia Together will track all volunteer service hours and provide documentation to teen volunteers as needed. Students must be willing to receive notification of volunteer opportunities and sign up for them through Leonia’s Ask Anything text messaging service.
Please sign the liability waiver as part of this volunteer application. If under 18 years of age, please have your parent or legal guardian sign this form.
Borough of Leonia Hold Harmless Agreement
You will agree that you will defend, indemnify and save harmless the Borough/Townshipof Leonia, its officers, agents and employees from any and all liability, suits, actions, anddemands and all damages, costs or fees on account of injuries to persons or property, including accidental deaths, arising out of or in connection with work, or by reason of the operations under this agreement.

Leonia Together Resident Waiver of Liability
Leonia Together is a volunteer program pairing residents who would like assistance with yard cleanup and snow removal with local high school students who will earn volunteer hours for their community service. There is no cost to the resident. Yard cleanup with take place on 2 days in the fall and 2 days in the spring. Snow removal will take place as needed. This service is contingent upon having enough teen volunteers to serve residents who register for the scheduled date(s). Age-Friendly Leonia and Leonia Together will do its best to accommodate all requests.
